Swancar, is a unique and idyllic setting that is exclusive for you and your loved ones to enjoy. Set within acres of beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside, our country house boasts a mix of rustic charm and contemporary elegance, with magnificent views and home comforts second-to-none.
Your celebrations can begin the night before in the Old Stables, our exclusive self-contained private cottage located within the grounds of Swancar with ample private parking and access to the venue. Pour the bubbles, relax and soak up the excitement with your best girls (or boys) – the perfect way to prepare for the exciting day ahead.
Throughout your stay you can most certainly enjoy quality food and beverages, first-class service and stylish accommodation to make your day a memorable one.

Lose yourself in the beautiful lawns and rural surroundings with your glass of fizz whilst your photographer captures those magical moments on film.

Our Wedding Co-ordinators and Events Team will work with you to plan your day to perfection giving you the peace of mind that the most important day of your life is in expert hands. The friendly team will take care of every detail to ensure your day is just how you imagined it would be.

We get excited about each and every Swancar wedding and love showing couples around our stunning venue. We will discuss your requirements and give you all the information you need to choose your venue and plan your day.
This venue has a licence for ceremonies in the:
- The Gallery – upper floor – 100 seated persons
- The Glass Barn – lower floor – 100 seated persons
Our Oak Hall can seat up to 140 for a sit-down meal and up to 200 for an evening reception.
