In September 2020 The Lord Nelson was taken over by award winning publican Emma Binch and her fabulous team.
Originally built in the 1800s, the pub is a Grade II listed building, bordered by a beck and set in idyllic countryside. The Lord Nelson has a stunning Victorian walled beer-garden, a shop, spacious bar and a large restaurant with doors opening out onto our sunken patio and beer garden.
We are very proud to hold a Certificate of Excellence from Cask Marque. Our bar serves a range of traditional draft and cask ales, lager and cider. We offer an extensive range of wines to suit everyone's palate.
We're dog friendly and our canine pals are welcome both in the bar and beer garden.
Whether it's a beer and a burger at the bar, chilling out with a glass of wine by the open fire, a private dinner celebration, or a wedding in our fabulous beer garden and marquee, we will be delighted to welcome you and make your visit memorable.
